 “Autumn Glow Goddess Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups baby kale

  • 1 roasted sweet potato, cubed

  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds

  • ¼ cup crumbled goat cheese

  • 1 sliced pear

  • 2 tbsp toasted pecans

  • Dressing: 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, pinch of cinnamon, salt & pepper

Instructions:
Toss greens, sweet potatoes, and pears. Sprinkle goat cheese, pomegranate seeds, and pecans. Whisk dressing ingredients and drizzle. Serve slightly warm for the coziest autumn bite.

Why it’s special:
It’s packed with antioxidants, feels indulgent, and gives that “glow from within” energy — because fall isn’t about fading, it’s about radiating.

In the center of Traverse City, Michigan, the Great Lock-In Challenge is shaping a community-wide embrace of mindfulness and purpose.

Locals, as autumn arrives, cultivate daily rituals that echo the city’s thoughtful pace.

At Brew Coffeehouse, mornings have shifted — lattes are savored and screens set aside, making space for heartfelt conversations.

Artisans in the Village at Grand Traverse Commons hold “focus mornings,” fully immersed in their craft, while peninsula winemakers celebrate “harvest reflection,” finding gratitude alongside hard work.

These mindful choices stem from authenticity, not show.

The town’s appreciation for quality over haste makes this movement feel natural and deeply rooted.

This autumn’s Wellness Week Traverse City offered “attention as art” workshops and “Mindful Harvest” yoga, further inspiring digital-free moments.

Here, the Great Lock-In brings a gentler rhythm—grounded, peaceful, and quietly wise.
